A Journey of Post-Traumatic Growth

Trauma has a way of pulling the rug out from under us, leaving us feeling lost, broken, and disconnected from the people we once were. It can dim the light in our lives, making the world seem dark and colorless. I know this because I’ve been there. For three years, I lived in a fog of depression, unable to see any glimmer of hope or joy. I felt as though I had lost myself entirely, and I questioned whether I’d ever feel alive again.
But in the depths of that darkness, I discovered something extraordinary. It wasn’t a sudden breakthrough or a single moment of clarity. It was a gradual unfolding—a realization that my pain could be a catalyst for something greater. Through my struggles, I uncovered a deep-rooted passion for helping other women find their truest purpose. And as I poured my heart into supporting others, I began to find myself again. Coaching became my lifeline, a way to channel my experiences into healing, both for myself and those I worked with.
I believe so deeply in the power of post-traumatic growth because I’ve lived it. This isn’t about pretending the pain doesn’t exist or sugarcoating life’s struggles. It’s about facing the darkness head-on, learning from it, and transforming it into a source of strength and purpose. Coaching creates a safe, compassionate space to do just that. It allows you to unpack the weight of your trauma, explore the lessons hidden within it, and begin to see the possibilities for growth and transformation.
Through my work with clients, I’ve seen this process unfold in beautiful and unique ways. I’ve walked alongside women who felt stuck in cycles of fear or self-doubt and watched as they discovered strengths they didn’t even know they had. One of the most powerful tools I use in my coaching practice is guided affirmations, like: “I am not defined by what happened to me. I am defined by how I rise.” These simple but profound words help shift the mindset from being a victim of circumstances to becoming the author of your story. When we become empowered by our pain and trauma we become masters of our lives.
For me, creating art that speaks to the heart has also been a way to heal and express the parts of myself that words couldn’t quite reach. Vulnerability—sharing my own struggles and allowing myself to be seen—has been another powerful tool. It reminds me, and those I work with, that we are never alone in our pain. There is so much strength in sharing, in facing our shadows, and in allowing ourselves to grow from them.

Looking back, I’m grateful for the darkness I endured because it brought me to this place—where I get to walk alongside incredible women as they reclaim their light and discover their purpose. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward, know this: your story doesn’t end here. The darkness isn’t the end; it’s the beginning of something beautiful. Together, we can turn your pain into power and help you create a life that feels vibrant, purposeful, and authentically yours.
